ALDERLEY PARK C.C. Club AZ, Alderley Park, Macclesfield, Cheshire, SK10 4TF
The ground is situated off the A34 between Alderley Edge and Monks Heath crossroads. Take the Matthews Garden Centre entrance off the A34, take the right hand turning signposted Club AZ Mulberry's into the car park. Changing rooms are located withing Mulberry's sports centre and the cricket pitch can be accessed at the top of the car park by the tennis courts.
From M56: Leave at J14 signed for Hapsford/Helsby. Drive through lights with Helsby Arms on the left and take the next turning right, signposted Alvanley. Follow road up to top and turn right at T-junction. After only 400 yards turn left at another T-junction in the village. The ground is about a 1/3 mile on the right after the Arden Lea housing estate.
From M6. J19: Follow the A556 (Chester) to traffic lights and turn left on to A537 (Knutsford). At roundabout in centre of Knutsford turn left onto A50. Bear right with Manchester signs onto A5034 and take second right (signed Tatton Park). Pass entrance to Tatton Hall (on right). Follow road for about 1 mile, entrance to Ashley C.C. on right on sharp right hand bend.
From M56. J6: A538 though Hale Barns(Altrincham). Traffic lights turn left (B5162 Park Road). At T-junction turn right. At crossroads (Bleeding Wolf Pub) turn left (Ashley Road). Follow road (under motorway) to crossroads (Greyhound Pub). Turn right. Pass church on right. Entrance to Ashley C.C. is on next left hand bend.
ASHTON-ON-MERSEY C.C. The Beets, Little Ees Lane, Ashton-on-Mersey, Sale, M33 5GT
From M60:Leave at J7 (A56) for Sale. Turn right at first traffic lights (Glebelands Road). Carry on for 0.5 miles and Little Ees Lane is right(on second bend of 'S' bend) opposite park on the left. Ground is reached at the end of winding lane.
From East and West, via M56 to J10 onto A49 towards Whitchurch. From North and South on A49. turn onto A533 towards Northwich at Tall Trees crossroads lights (by filling station). After 2 miles enter Barnton village and take 1st left (Stone Hayes Lane). Follow this till it turns 90 degrees right. becoming Townfields Lane. Entrance to ground is signposted on left, down track, immediately after cul-de-sac on left.
BARROW C.C. The Croft, Barrow, Chester.
From South: Take A51 from Tarporley towards Chester, at roundabout with A54 turn left to Chester. After 0.5 miles at traffic lights, turn right to Bridge Trafford and Barrowmore Estate. Carry on through Barrow village. Ground is 500 yards beyond village on the right hand side.
From East: M56 J14 follow signs for Helsby. At traffiv lights filter right, A56 towards Chester. Continue for 2 miles, turn left marked Barrow. In approx. 2 miles ground is on left before entering village.
From J7/8, M56 (Altrincham). Turn right at roundabout (A56) then first right (Bow Green Road), when road bears left, continue right and then turn right again into Bow Lane. Follow Bow Lane into Bowdon Vale village. Before the shops turn right into Priory Street. The ground is at the end of the street.
BROOKLANDS C.C.
From M60 J6 take A6144 for Sale. Go straight on at traffic lights. Join one way system and bear right at traffic island. Move into left hand lane and continue down Marsland Road. After half a mile pass school on right and turn left into Georges Road. Go to end of Georges Road and club entrance is directly opposite.
BUNBURY C.C. School Lane, Bunbury, Cheshire, CW6 9NR
From the North - Leave M56 at J10 onto A49 towards Whitchurch. Follow this road until first roundabout (after about 15 miles). Take second exit and continue until next set of traffic lights. Turn right back onto A49 towards Whitchurch, follow road until it passes The Wild Boar Hotel on the left, and then take second turn on the left into School Lane. The Ground is about 200 yards on the left, just before the school. From the South, take the A49 from Whitchurch towards Northwich/Warrington. Follow this road and take the second turn on the right after Panama Hatties restaurant into Schoolo lane. The ground is about 200 yards on the left, just before the school.
From Chester or Liverpool. Head along the M53 towards Ellesmere Port. Exit J10 for Cheshire Oaks Retail Park. Go over 2 roundabouts along the A5117, at 3rd roundabout take 3rd exit into Chester Road. The entrance to the Castrol Sports and Social Club is approximately 300 yards on the right.
From M60 J2, Turn right towards Cheadle. At traffic lights at Queens Pub, turn left. To next set of traffic lights, at the Greyhound Pub, turn right. Entrance to the ground half a mile on right at lower end of Meadway Road.
CHELFORD C.C. Peover Lane, Chelford, Cheshire.
100 yards on left down Peover Lane off roundabout. A537 from Knutsford, A537 from Macclesfield, A535 from Holmes Chapel, A535 from Alderley Edge.
CHESTER COUNTY OFFICERS C.C.
The club is based at Upton-by-Chester, 1 mile south of Chester Zoo, on the A41 Chester ring road. From the M56 westbound take the M53 towards Chester coming off at J12 onto A56. Turn right and right at next roundabout onto A41 towards Birkenhead. Keep in right hand lane for 250 metres and turn right into Mannings Lane following signs for 'Outdoor Sports Facilities' The entrance is a short distance on the left. If approaching from the A556/A54/A51 to Vickers Cross lights turn right onto A41. Continue to A56 roundabout. go straight across and follow above.
CHOLMONDELEY C.C. In the Grounds of Cholmondeley Castle
Take A49 from Tarporley heading south. Go straight on past A534 crossroads. At next crossroads (Cholmondeley Arms pub on left) turn right into Bickerton Road. Take first right (signed Cholmondeley Estate Offices). Follow road which has a left bend then a short straight: then bear left into trees then almost immediatly right, through gate, onto a tree lined avenue. Go over bridge then bear right and park next to the ground.
From the A34 (Congleton) at the Fire Station roundabout, go into West Street. Booth Street is the 2nd street on the right after a church. Congleton Cricket Club is the next entrance on the right hand side.
Leave the A556 at roundabout into Davenham village. Take the 1st right into Green Lane then 2nd right into Hartford Road. Entrance to the ground is signposted just past the entrance to Mount Pleasant Road on your left.
KINGSLEY C.C. The Croft, Mill Lane, Kingsley, Cheshire, WA6 8HH
From Junction 10 off the M56 take the A49. Straight on at the little chef traffic lights. Take the first right after crossing the river by the Leigh Arms pub. Turn right after the Maypole pub at T Junction by Hazel Pear on the B5153. Pass through Crowton, once in Kingsley the ground is 1/2 mile past Kingsley Mill on the right.
From Wilmslow Town Centre: Follow sighns to Alderley Edge to roundabout. Take B5086 (signposted Mobberley and Knutsford) for about 1 mile. Turn right into Green Villa Park and 1st left into Upcast Lane.
From Knutsford Town Centre: Follow signs to Wilmslow via Mobberley (B5085). Turn left onto B5086 at mini-roundabout. 1st left into Green Villa Park and 1st left into Upcast Lane. Park at bottom of Upcast Lane n front of Lindow School.
LYMM OUGHTRINGTON PARK C.C. Oughtrington lane, Oughtrington, Lymm, Cheshire.
Exit M6 J20 (M56 J9) and follow signs for Lymm. Proceed approx. 1 mile down Cherry Lane until T-junction with A56 at end. Turn right onto A56, after approx. 1 mile turn left into Oughtrington Lane (signposted Oughtrington). Proceed down Oughtrington Lane past school on right. Entrance to ground is on right hand side opposite large church.
