Fundraising event for Lindow Cricket Club
About Geoffrey Boycott
Geoffrey was a leading light in English cricket for a quarter of a century
making over 48,000 runs and scoring 151 hundreds in an often
controversial career with Yorkshire and England. Boycott was capped 108
times for England with a test average of 48 and a highest score of 246*.
He is now an outspoken commentator on the game, his trenchant views
on all aspects of cricket at home and abroad highly respected.
About Lindow Cricket Club
Lindow Cricket Club is a well established club based on the outskirts of
Wilmslow with a history dating from the 1880’s. The club currently has 2
senior teams, 6 junior teams and is run by players and ex-players,
primarily funded through fundraising events. To improve the clubs facilities
and clubhouse further, events like this need as much support as possible.

in Manchester. The evening is a fundraising event and
includes a Compere and Comedian.

9.45pm Auction
10.00pm Comedian
